Happy December! Your children have been very busy this week creating equivalent fractions, learning about the Northeast region of the United States, and deciding on thesis statements for nonfiction writing.
Classroom/Muraco Announcements:
- The Reading Log BEA is due on Monday, November 14th. This assignment encourages your children to read for at least 30 minutes each day. There is no sharing aspect of this BEA.
- Friday, December 4th (tomorrow) is Superhero Day. The Student Council is encouraging all staff and students to showcase their super powers! This is our first spirit day of the year, so we hope that everyone decides to wear attire that highlights their super powers (music, athletics, writing, friendship) or that represents their favorite super hero. We look forward to sharing and celebrating our talents!
- We are very excited to report that we have scheduled two Mystery Skypes for the month of December.
Please ask your child to explain what a Mystery Skype is, as well as their assigned Skype job.
